Good luck from Adelaide, South Australia! You are doing a great job, everyone. If you get the place going again I may come back.

The staff will now have no alternative but to look for jobs. I'd be grateful if Audrey and her excellent kitchen staff would let me know where they will be working, if and when they get new jobs. The webmaster won't let me post my address, but my mobile phone number is 07713848663 I hope they get fixed up very soon - they will be great assets to any employer!
Of course the best outcome would be if a new operator takes over the Lemon Tree and re-employs the former staff.

The board (for all their faults) were stitched up by an Aberdeen City Council hatchet job + a head start on the PR campaign by the same ACC. Finance was offered on the condition that the board PERSONALLY guaranteed the loan. If only ACC could walk the talk and councillors provided a personal guarantee for all their ventures!!!!

Do not let the Lemon Tree die in vain, campaign on, keep up the pressure, we need a venue to fill the void left by the Tree. LOBBY, LOBBY and LOBBY again!

Thanks to the valiant efforts of the staff and for all their hard work over the many years that we have enjoyed the artistic fayre served up in that greatly missed venue.
